Cruising Holidays

In 2006 we found ourselves cruising the Mediterranean as a change and have since done a second Med cruise, a cruise down the Nile in Egypt, an Alaska cruise from Vancouver to Juneau and a Caribbean island/Atlantic Ocean cruise.in addition to other cruise holidays we have enjoyed before the Corona virus outbreak in 2020. Since then the only overseas trip we have made was to Norway in September 2021 to see the Confirmation ceremony in Stavanger for our grandson Arne Joseph.

Our Mediterranean cruises have taken us to many towns and cities across the sea, either by flying to a foreign port or cruising from Southampton, during this time we have cruised with Thompson and Marella(TUI), Cunard, P&O, Celebrity X, MSC, President Line (The Nile), Holland & America and Princess lines.

The places we have visited include towns and cities in France. (Including Corsica) Belgium, Channel Islands, Spain (including Cueta in Morroco; Minorca, Majorca, Ibiza), Portugal (including The Azores homebound from the Caribbean), Italy (including Sardinia and Sicily), Norway, Croatia (including Korcula), Greece - the Greek Islands of Crete, Heraklion,Rhodes; Piraeus for Athens Turkey - Kusadasi for Ephesus;The Caribbean (Barbados, St Lucia - Castriere; St Kitts & Nevis - Bassetere; Tortola - Cane Garden Bay Beach; then sailed back to Southampton via The Azores island of Ponta Delgardo. USA - New York cruise across the Atlantic; Alaska Cruise visiting Vancouver in Canada then to Ketchican, Skagway, Juneau
