AS you read through the texts you will note the names that are new to us now, Byrne, Rowan, McCormick and Cain. The name Tague is familiar as we lived in Barnes Road near our Tague “cousins” , although we did not at the time know what the family connection was. Tom Tague (Uncle Tom) stood for me at my confirmation in St John Fisher church.

And so with the information we now have it will be a long trawl through the many names to work out the connections and relationships with everyone.

Sadly Irene and I missed the Keogh Reunion in Tennessee but I did manage to get the T Shirt!! And some of the pictures can be viewed from the link below or from the Picture Galleries link in the header.

In June we had the privilege of welcoming our new found cousins from Tennessee who came to visit Widnes on their European journeys - Uncle Gerry and Monica cruised the British Isles and Steve, Jesse and Carly toured Paris and London then went to Ireland to visit the birthplace of our great grandfather - Bernard Joseph.  The visit was short but packed in some sightseeing around Widnes and Liverpool. The birthplace of many of the Keogh family members, Grenfell Street was one of the highlights and a small party was held at the Widnes Cricket Club where members of Gerry’s Byrne family and the Tague family met up with us all to exchange stories and put faces to names. Some of the photos from the trip can be seen to the left.........
